  NLP & COACHING

NLP and Coaching is a two day course delivered and devised by Rivca Rubin & Bev Morton as part of the Relational Dynamics Shorts series. They have selected a number of processes and methods from the field of NLP to enable you to hone your existing skills, deepen your understanding of self and others and expand your coaching approaches. The selected techniques will be particularly useful when facilitating behavioural change, working with limiting beliefs, accessing resourceful states and developing confidence.

Rivca & Bev will cover the theory and practice of NLP (Neuro-Lingusitic Programming) and how can it add to your practice as a coach. Neuro: what goes on in the mind; Linguistic: the significance of the language we use and Programming: working with patterns of behaviour. Participants will also come away with a expanded coaching toolbox of NLP exercises which you can use in a coaching session. Both tutors are NLP trained and Rivca Rubin is a NLP Master Practitioner and has been delivering training in NLP tools for 14 years.

The course is suitable for those wishing to explore one to one coaching, enhance leadership, mentoring and facilitation skills and/or utilise the skills in the workplace or in day to day interactions.

TRANSACTIONAL ANALYSIS (TA) - EXPANDING YOUR COACHING TOOLBOX

A two day workshop - delivered and devised by
Michèle Taylor and Elaine Burke - which will give you powerful new coaching tools, exploring Transactional Analysis (TA) techniques, and creative approaches to integrate with your existing coaching skills, and enhance your practice.

This is for coaches looking for even more creative and practical ways to work with clients and psychological models to support their thinking around interaction with self and others. You do not need any prior knowledge or experience of TA  - you will be given the theoretical background you need to use these techniques effectively and safely with your clients.

During the two days, you will also be introduced to creative coaching techniques, offering new ways to help your clients clarify their goals, and identify and resolve their blocks in achieving them.  Working creatively with your clients can open up different insights and perspectives, facilitating them to find new solutions. You will work with objects and creative materials to give you new tools to use in your own practice.

Elaine Burke is an experienced Art Psychotherapist  and an RD1st coach. Michèle Taylor is trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist and accredited as an RD1st coach.

An Introduction to Coaching Skills for Leadership
:

A two day course, held at The Dukes Playhouse, Lancaster, UK exploring how key coaching techniques can be applied to leadership and management. A coaching style of leadership moves away from the more traditional models of leadership - one person responsible for the many - to a culture of ‘shared or distributed responsibility’ where the ‘leader’ doesn’t have to hold all the answers. It is learning not to lead in the traditional sense but more to facilitate others to come up with their own solutions: asking questions rather than giving the answers.
